Training

Tuesday and Thursday evenings 6:30pm O'Connor Park Yass during daylight saving.
Note: Training will move to Monday and Wednesday nights (at Victoria Park under lights) when daylight saving finishes.

Social

The club tries to maintain a good social side with regular events organised throughout the year. Our home social venue is the Australian Hotel, Comur St Yass. All supporters and opposing teams are encouraged and welcome to attend for a friendly get together after the game.

Our season kick-off Player Lottery Auction Night and Dinner usually occurs around the first game of the season. Keep your eye on the Coming Events page for details of all the club's activities.

The Club Song

Sung to the tune of the Carlton Football Club song and it goes a little something like this:

We are the Kangaroos;
We are the grey, white and royal blues.
We're the team that never lets you down.
We're the only team from old Yass Town.
With all the champions,
That make our team up,
We'll keep our heads up.
And then you'll know that you've been playing
Against the winning, bold Yass Roos.

As soon as we can nail the boys down for a recording session we'll try and bring you the song in all it's auditory glory. But till then listen out for it at a winning game.
